Larry was born from a simple but ambitious idea: turn children’s screen time into a space for creativity, learning and expression.
Context
Founded by parents, Larry is not another kids’ app. It combines a drawing tablet experience with a mobile application, designed to help children create, draw and explore while keeping the tactile pleasure of paper.
✨ Key question ✨
How can screen time become creative, active and meaningful without feeling digital?

My role
As founding designer, I shaped the product from the ground up, defining both the brand identity and the entire product experience.
From vision to execution, my work covered
✦ Brand foundations and visual language
✦ Product UX and UI for iPad
✦ Interaction patterns designed for children
✦ Alignment between physical experience and digital interface
Design principles
✔️ Turn the iPad into an activity notebook, not a gaming device
✔️ Keep the experience simple, calm and playful
✔️ Design interfaces adapted to children’s motor skills
✔️ Build a friendly, reassuring brand universe for both children and parents
